This is pretty cool. There is a website, called Zazzle.com, that will print a single t-shirt on demand. That’s right, A SINGLE T-SHIRT. I have decided to post some of my designs for sale there. Some of these design may never see full-blow production, but some people may like them enough to buy a shirt or two. Their flexibility in styles and colors is convenient too. Their women’s styles are pretty good.

A couple notes about on-demand products:

  • These are NOT Technical t-shirts. That means no wicking fabric (although they have some available, I’m not a big fan).
  • These shirts are digitally printed, the print will not last as long as a conventional screenprinted shirt, and nowhere near as long as Chronic Cycling’s dye-sublimated apparel. That said, I have one t-shirt from them that has lasted almost 4 years.
  • If you order, you are ordering from Zazzle, not Chronic Cycling. That means billing, order mistakes, etc. need to be handled through Zazzle’s channels. I’ll certainly help any way I can. (I’ve used their service as a buyer before, and it’s great; another reason I chose Zazzle instead of other vendors).

Without further ado, here they are:

I want to share something about the mountain jersey: I’m stoked about it.

As much work as it was to find the right “fit”, I’m delighted to say it was worth it. Elastics are nowhere to be found. Here’s a jersey that is comfortable, yet tapers towards the waist enough not to have loose fabric flyin’ around and catching sticks and stuff. All the while looking pretty stylish.

Standard hidden zipper, it’s available in full length, but then it’s a visible zipper. The pocket in the back is zippered too. The fabric is 100% microfiber polyester of a nice, smooth feel and appearance.

This is the jersey style Chronic Cycling jerseys are made in (unless otherwise indicated). It’s also available through the Custom Program.

I’m still working on the ladies’ jersey photos… ..in the meantime:

I’m so excited. Chronic Cycling was recently featured in Austin on Two Wheels (formerly Austin Bike Blog). My first media interview ever! Austin on Two Wheels aims to be the online magazine for Austin cycling culture. Their goals is to cover all aspects of Austin’s cycling community. Check it out.

These other two bits of exposure were paid for: Check page 63 of DirtRag magazine’s Issue 140, and February’s edition of Southwest Cycling News.

Go Ride!
