This is pretty cool. There is a website, called Zazzle.com, that will print a single t-shirt on demand. That’s right, A SINGLE T-SHIRT. I have decided to post some of my designs for sale there. Some of these design may never see full-blow production, but some people may like them enough to buy a shirt or two. Their flexibility in styles and colors is convenient too. Their women’s styles are pretty good. A couple notes about on-demand products:
Without further ado, here they are:
Well, it made sense to me that the first actual cycling jersey Chronic Cycling sells would be a tribute to my country of origin (Puerto Rico). Here it is, a rendering of the Taíno petroglyph for the sun, with a little modification, to show this taíno’s predilection for bicycles. Available in men and women’s relaxed fit. Small run of only 80 made! Click on the images for more detail.
I want to share something about the mountain jersey: I’m stoked about it. As much work as it was to find the right “fit”, I’m delighted to say it was worth it. Elastics are nowhere to be found. Here’s a jersey that is comfortable, yet tapers towards the waist enough not to have loose fabric flyin’ around and catching sticks and stuff. All the while looking pretty stylish. Standard hidden zipper, it’s available in full length, but then it’s a visible zipper. The pocket in the back is zippered too. The fabric is 100% microfiber polyester of a nice, smooth feel and appearance. This is the jersey style Chronic Cycling jerseys are made in (unless otherwise indicated). It’s also available through the Custom Program. I’m still working on the ladies’ jersey photos… ..in the meantime: We are officially taking orders now for custom jerseys and tech tees. From the Custom page, you may read about, and download PDFs that should include most of the pertinent information regarding custom orders (Recommended reading: “How To”, “Pricing”, “Sizing Chart”) Minimums have gone down to 11 pieces. However, if you order 21 or more of the same style, you’ll only pay an introductory price of $40 per custom jersey, $35 for custom tech tees. Pay attention now, these are fully sublimated (read: “unlimited colors“), short, long or full zipper, any fit. Best deal in the industry. I’m giving these crazy prices only for a little while, take advantage of them now. Visit the Custom page, learn about the process, and let’s get started with your custom cycling wear! First some news: First batch of tech tees ships this next week, should be available for sale in a week or so. Two fit kits should also be available for custom orders. The custom order page will have all the information needed to place custom orders. In the meantime, I managed to produce another design. Inspired by a photo taken by my friend John Fruehe, of AustinBike.com fame. I think it captures that meditative focus of the lone rider amidst a nasty terrain. I dedicate this one to those whose main reason to ride is the ride: (Click for larger image / more detail, opens pop-up window) I’m inclined to make this one the next limited issue, what do you think? Told ya. I’m getting closer to carpal tunnel syndrome than I’ve ever had, but enjoying every minute of it. Here’s a new design. This design is inspired in the houndstooth check pattern, with a twist. Let’s just say that it started with a spare bike part and a camera. I just love the whole “made you look twice” thing, so go ahead, click on them to see a larger image, and more detail. I really didn’t see this one as a t-shirt (okay, maybe with oversize, skewed graphics), so I opted for the classy jersey look. As usual, your comments are not just welcome, but encouraged. |
