I recently delivered jerseys to the Austin Ridge Riders Mountainbike Club here in the ATX. It all started with their sketches:

From that I grabbed several concepts, and after a few revisions, arrived to this:

Here’s the final product (click for larger images):

The bulk of this order consisted of Chronic Cycling’s Mountain jersey. In a previous post I showed the men’s version of this jersey. The fit is great, it’s loose enough to feel like a regular shirt, but fitted enough to keep from dangling and grabbing branches, (or wind, if you’re real fast). Not only is this jersey a great alternative for clubs and organizations whose members are not interested in the more “racer” look of a traditional fit jersey, this is probably the only one out there that can be custom ordered along with club or sports cuts jerseys, and technical t-shirts! Learn all about it in the Custom Program page.

Right now, for a limited time, you can get this fully-sublimated jersey for as low as $40 each! Contact nando at Chronic Cycling dot com to get you on your way to the coolest jersey you’ve ever owned.

Well, it made sense to me that the first actual cycling jersey Chronic Cycling sells would be a tribute to my country of origin (Puerto Rico). Here it is, a rendering of the Taíno petroglyph for the sun, with a little modification, to show this taíno’s predilection for bicycles.

Available in men and women’s relaxed fit. Small run of only 80 made! Click on the images for more detail.

I want to share something about the mountain jersey: I’m stoked about it.

As much work as it was to find the right “fit”, I’m delighted to say it was worth it. Elastics are nowhere to be found. Here’s a jersey that is comfortable, yet tapers towards the waist enough not to have loose fabric flyin’ around and catching sticks and stuff. All the while looking pretty stylish.

Standard hidden zipper, it’s available in full length, but then it’s a visible zipper. The pocket in the back is zippered too. The fabric is 100% microfiber polyester of a nice, smooth feel and appearance.

This is the jersey style Chronic Cycling jerseys are made in (unless otherwise indicated). It’s also available through the Custom Program.

I’m still working on the ladies’ jersey photos… ..in the meantime:
